The prestigious University of St. Gallen in eastern Switzerland opened its revolutionary new Learning Center, SQUARE in spring 2022.

The building, an HSG Alumni initiative, was designed by the acclaimed Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. The interior fit out – a comprehensive furniture concept that enables new ways of learning – was created by Zurich-based architecture office Evolution Design.

According to the university, SQUARE is not just a building, but a place for the exchange of ideas and for learning by all societal stakeholders. It sees SQUARE as a place for experimenting with new learning and teaching formats, a place where lecturers will find an innovative environment and the right tools to try out new things.

We are incredibly proud and honoured that a large number of Moving Walls were chosen for the facility.
